About us. DIY Kyoto value simple things. From the start, we’ve aimed to produce products of perfect convenience and utility – elegant in conception, efficient in operation.

We create beautifully designed products to help people understand and control their personal impact on the environment.

The DIY Kyoto team. Left to right: Richard Woods, Jon Sawdon Smith and Greta Corke

After three years of design, development, testing and a few sleepless nights, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved with wattson and holmes: a simple, stylish way for you to do your bit for the environment, while saving yourself anywhere from 5% to 20% on your electricity bills.

And in the future? You’ll have to join our emailing list to stay up to date with whatever we decide to work on next. In the meantime, why not find out a little about our backgrounds, and check in regularly on our blog.
